Day 1: Cusco

Day 2: Tipón

Today we will start with a departure towards the archaeological ruins of Tipon, in the south of the city. That is a place that is known to have been for the praising of water rituals. We ourselves will also make an offering to the Pachamama (the mother Earth) before we have our lunch for the day. After visiting the south area for a while, we will each have our personal sessions of coca reading, where a shaman is able to read your future and your body and spirit. Typical dinner in the night time. Hotel to sleep.

Day 3: Sacred Valley of the Incas

Today we will spend the entire day touring in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will have a typical lunch in Urubamba, which is thought to be the main pueblo in the Sacred Valley. When we get to Ollantaytambo, the most storied pueblo in the area, we will make an offering to Wayra. Instead of returning to Cusco in the night time we will spend the night in Ollantaytambo, having our dinner at a typical restaurant.

Day 4: Machu Picchu- Aguas Calientes

Transfer to the train station first thing in the morning to arrive to Aguas Calientes in the early part of the morning. We will immedietely go up to the ruins in a bus to have a guided visit of Machu Picchu. We will be shown around the large site for about 2 and a half hours. Afterwards, we will take part some traditional Andean cleaning and harmonization ceremonies there at the ancient ruins. We will also make more offerings to the Pachamama. We will go down to Aguas Calientes to have our lunch for the day, but then we will go back up to the ruins in the afternoon to have some more time to explore on our own. In the night time we will return down the mountain to Aguas Calientes to have dinner and spend the night. If the group wishes, there is also the option to visit the hot springs for which the town is named.

Day 5: Cusco – X-Zone

In the morning we will have a breakfast and then return to the train station to catch a train back to Ollantaytambo. The train ride will last about 2 hours and it will be going through beautiful landscapes. You will be able to see as we go from the jungle microclimate back to the Sacred Valley again. We will take a bus back to Cusco from Ollantaytambo.

In the afternoon we will be transferred to the place known as the X-Zone, on the mountainside just over Cusco. That is where we will do a series of ceremonies, for Hanaq Pacha and Ukju Pacha, as well as ceremonies for cleansing and reflection. Return to Cusco in the evening to have dinner and rest.
